Need a super easy chick craft to add to your spring celebration?  This one is super easy and you can make a bunch of them without breaking the piggy bank!  You can also vary some of the supplies to get different looks! Read on to check it out!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You can find a number of these items at Dollar Stores or discounted sections at stores.  You can also mix and match colors if you want to have different colored chicks.

THE SUPPLIES:

  • 1 Yellow Cup
  • 1 Sheet of Orange Felt or Construction Paper
  • 1 Sheet of Yellow Felt or Construction Paper
  • 2 Googly Eyes

THE TOOLS:

  • Scissors
  • Glue

STEPS

STEP 1: Create the wings and nose

Cut two pieces of yellow felt in semi-oval shapes – these will be for the wings.  Cut a piece of orange felt in a small triangle – this will be for the nose.

Glue the wings to opposite sides of the cup.   Glue the nose in the middle.

STEP 2: Add the Eyes

Glue the two googly eyes just above the nose.

STEP 3: Repeat!

Create a few more!  Vary the supplies to get different looks: Use construction paper instead of felt. Try out different sized yellow cups OR pick up some dollar store cups and paint then paint your baby chicks!  Get creative 🙂
