An Egg & Nest Themed Easter Party for Kids – Simple & Easy!
Tagged Tags: , , , ,

Welcome to one of our easy Easter parties filled with eggs, nests, and more! This one was super easy to set up. Read on to check out our ideas on decorations, snacks, crafts, activities, and more!

Most of the items we purchased for this party can be found either from dollar stores, local grocery stores, or online, so you don’t have to go all out and spend a ton!

THE TABLE

For this table, we had more of an egg and nest theme – we had some decorated wooden egg cutouts from previous craft days but also had some for more craft fun later on!  We also had a mini nest filled with chocolate eggs at each table setting.  In the center of the table, we filled a slightly larger nest with some plastic easter eggs.

THE EGG TRIVIA

At the center of our table, we had a larger nest filled with plastic easter eggs, which doubled as decoration as well as a hidden activity 🙂  Each egg was filled with some easter trivia (and some random silly riddles) that we could take turns opening up and asking (we used one from allfreeprintable.com: Easter Trivia since they were already in easy to cut boxes).

If you’ve got more than a handful of eggs, you could also hide them around the house, yard, or party area and have the kiddos find them as well!

EASY CRAFT ACTIVITIES

We had two craft activities for this party which are super easy and require very little prep (just gathering the supplies):

  • Wooden Egg Cutout Painting:  While our table was decorated with some colored wooden egg cutouts, we had a pack for the little ones to color during the party.
  • Easy Chick Cups: This is one of our easy crafts and you don’t need too many supplies!  We already purchased a pack of yellow plastic cups for the tables, so we had some extra for the craft.  If you don’t have felt or googly eyes, construction paper and markers work too!

GOODIE BAG

Rather than hand out baskets with goodies, we gave each of our little guests their nests filled with chocolate eggs as well as all their crafts they created.  We also had a small goodie bag with other trinkets (bubbles, crayons, etc…).
