Cowabunga!!! Who’s ready for a budget-friendly Ninja Turtle Party!!! If you have a fan of these ninja fighting, human sized turtles and are looking for a way to celebrate without breaking the piggy bank, this party is for you! Read on to check out our DIY and easy ideas to throw an amazing TMNT Party!
DECORATIONS
With just a few simple decorations and lots of green, you can turn your party area into an awesome Ninja Turtle themed party!
Add a few Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Door Decorations so everyone knows they’re entering into a TMNT world!
We also cut out logos and images from the packages we purchased and spread those around the party table.
Bring out your ninja turtle action figures and toys to add some more decoration & double as spontaneous games 😉
PHOTO AREA
Photo backdrops are a great way of setting a theme and double as a nice and easy activity! Pick a backdrop that functions as decorative, add a few props to the scene and you’ve got a great place to hang out!
For a Ninja Turtle Party, a Turtle Backdrop is an obvious choice! Although, you could also set up a plain but trusty Brick Wall Photo Backdrop!
Pass out some Ninja Turtle Party Masks (or set up a DIY Mask Table with some TMNT: Design a Ninja Mask Activity by twinkl so everyone can make their own).
Note, you don’t have to go all out with a photo backdrop stand either. Grab a few pieces of tape and an empty wall & you’re all set!
THE TABLE
For our table, we started off with some solid greens and black and added some TMNT items: dinner plates, dessert plates, napkins, and mini skateboards.
PARTY FOOD
No party is complete without some party food! For a Ninja Turtle Power, PIZZA is an absolute must!!! After all, that’s all the Ninja Turtles eat! And, if you’re feeling really brave, pick up some pizzas with some classic turtle combinations like pizza and bacon, spicy peppers, peanut butter, or even ice cream 😉
And don’t forget the chips, goldfish, and other snacks that the turtles love!
GAMES & ACTIVITIES
Games! Games! Games! What is a party without a few games 🙂 We had an activity table for kids to keep entertained while everyone arrived AND after all the games were done. We also had a few simple games that kept the kiddos busy throughout the party!
- Coloring Pages – We printed ours from I Heart Crafty Things page of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Coloring Pages
- Target Practice – We picked up a few Mini Flying Disks and set up some basic targets for our Ninja Turtles in training 🙂
And we didn’t have these at our party, but they are some really fun ideas you could add to yours as well!
- Ninja Turtles Training Course: This one would definitely be fun if you had the space! Set up a Ninja training course complete with mats for tumbling, running/racing,
GOODIE BAGS & GIVE WAYS
For our give-away, we opted for a single item. It was a more expensive, but we went this route because the canisters were too cool to pass up: Treasure X Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sewer Rescue Mystery Pack: Plastic Mini Figure Toy.
