An Egg-citing Easter Party for Kids – Simple & Easy!
Tagged Tags: , , , ,

Welcome to one of our easy, chick-themed Easter parties! This one was definitely fun and cute to set up and the kids had a ton of fun! Read on to check out our ideas on decorations, snacks, crafts, activities, and more!

Most of the items we purchased for this party can be found either from dollar stores, local grocery stores, or online, so you don’t have to go all out and spend a ton!

THE TABLE

Since we had an Easter chick centered theme, our table settings and centerpieces all had cute little yellow chicks around them. We added some foam easter chicks shapes and ‘grass’ (green folded napkins) on top of some oval plates.  At each table setting, we also had an Easter plush (note: the link will take you to the site but you’ll have to buy in bulk.  If you just need a few, head over to your closest Dollar Tree)

A CRAFY DESSERT

At each setting, we also had graham crackers, yellow chick peeps, and white icing in an Easter Tin (also from the Dollar Tree), which could only mean…. Each kid got to make their own Graham Cracker Bird House for dessert!!!  We followed the instructions from somewhatsimple.com to create the Peeps Bird House. Though there was some snacking on the graham crackers and icing, they kids had a ton of fun – it was a super cute & easy idea!

THE EGG HUNT

At the center of our table, we had some Easter buckets filled with some plastic eggs – which the kiddos rightly guessed were for an Easter egg hunt after lunch. While most eggs were filled with candy and other bulk goodies, we told them that some eggs had a mini colorful baby chicks inside and that we’d do a fun and simple craft with it after!

THE BABY CHICK CRAFT

After all the eggs were collected, candy sorted, and baby chicks found, we set up a simple craft for them that included the baby chicks they found! After all, baby chicks need a home!. We used a few upcycles on this to help keep costs low but still super fun for all! Click here to see our detailed tutorial!
