Need a super easy craft for your next magician’s party, magic movie night, or imaginative play day? This is a super easy craft and can easily be made with materials from home! Read on to check it out!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
THE SUPPLIES:
- 1 Tin Can
- 1 Sheet of Black Construction Paper
- 1 Sheet of Red Construction Paper
- 1 Small Black Plate
THE TOOLS:
- Scissors
- Glue or Tape (Note: We used tape so the wand would be ready to play with immediately. )
STEPS
STEP 1: Crown
Cut the black construction paper in half – lengthwise. Wrap the black and tape or glue around the tin can.
STEP 2: Band
Cut a long strip of the red paper (about an inch in width). Wrap the red strip at the bottom of the can (not the opening).
STEP 3: Brim
Tape or glue the bottom of the can to the small black paper plate. Alternatively, you could also use black construction paper and/or reinforce it with cardboard.
