An Easy & Inexpensive Dracula Craft – Step By Step

Looking for a cute & simple craft to create for the Halloween Season? This Mini Dracula craft is incredibly easy to make and only needs a few supplies!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For this craft, we opted to use felt for the clothing but you could also use any fabric you have on hand.

THE SUPPLIES:

  • 1 Mini Wooden Peg Doll
  • 1 Small Sheet of Red Felt
  • 1 Small Sheet of Black Felt
  • 1 Black Marker

THE TOOLS:

  • Scissors
  • Glue (Hot Glue works best but you’d need to help our your little ones)

STEPS

STEP 1: Create the Face

Using a black marker, draw the hair and eyes.

Optionally draw a mouth and fangs.

STEP 2: Add the Clothes

Depending on the size or your peg doll, the sizes of the felt cut outs will vary.  Cut out a black rectangle to cover the body area of the wooden doll.  Glue in place.

Then cut a red rectangle that would cover the head (this will be the top part of the collar) and a small triangular rectangle (this will be the tie).  Glue in place

STEP 3: Add the Cape

Cut a black rectangle that would cover the wooden peg doll from head to toe.  Glue only in the black and around the neck area.  This will allow the cape to ‘flow’.

STEP 4: (Optionally) create more!

Since the kit comes with several different sizes, make a few more Dracula dolls 🙂
