Welcome to our “Ancient Egypt Week” – an at home camp filled with days of relaxed learning and fun activities all themed to awesome Ancient Egypt! Time travelers, young history buffs, and ancient explorers will hardly realize they’re learning all about history as they dive into a new topic each day!
For this week, we traveled back in time by setting up the ultimate Ancient Egypt learning area! We decorated the space using some kraft paper and upcycled paper bags with “messages” written in hieroglyphics. Then we kicked off the first few days with some iconic Ancient Egyptian topics – pyramids & mummies – of course! As we moved into the week, we started to explore some other topics they weren’t as familiar with – daily life and mythology! It was definitely a fun week!
